About Gang
I’m a partner at Alpha Startup Fund, where I oversee the firm’s early-stage investment strategy. For the past decade, I’ve supported founders with a global outlook from the earliest stages of building their companies.
Early investments include Looki, Pixboom, Guangfan, Noitom Robotics, HiDream, Whale and Memoket. In most cases, I was the company’s first investor. Through these investments, I explore new kinds of products and real-world applications where AI meets the physical world.
I graduated from University College London, where I studied mathematics and economics. I also run , a Chinese-language WeChat publication on products, entrepreneurship and personal growth. I’ve been named a LinkedIn Top Voice three times.
